About

“Reason sets the boundaries far too narrowly for us and would have us accept only the known…  Day after day we live far beyond the bounds of our consciousness; without our knowledge, the life of the unconscious is going on within us.”

Carl Jung
In Memories, Dreams and Reflections ( pg.  302)

Bernice H. Hill, Ph.D. is a Jungian analyst in private practice in Boulder, Colorado for over thirty years.  She is a member of the International Association for Analytic Psychology (Zurich) and a senior training Analyst for the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado.

Dr. Hill was drawn to the work of Carl Jung because of his recognition of the unfolding of the soul’s journey to a vision of its own destiny. We cannot avoid life’s challenges-or  the pain, chaos and fear that they bring. Beyond the turmoil and contraction that these create, however, there is the potential for growing awareness.

Jungian analysis offers the opportunity to discover one’s own deeper Self-it’s paradoxes,  shadows and hidden strengths. Through listening to one’s own unconscious, expressed in  dreams, visions and synchronicities one gains a connection with one’s inner core. This relationship is the most important one we will ever make – the “keel” for all storms.

Dr. Hill is author of Spiritual Perspectives on Death and Dying (2015) and Emergence of the Cosmic Psyche: UFOs and ETs from the Perspective of Depth Psychology (2013) both available from Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.
